DFO is one of the most effective reagents for developing fingerprints. It is highly sensitive and therefore suitable for contrasting on almost every surface.
Best results are reached by using a light spectrum of 450-590nm depending on the examined material and by using an orange (450-530nm) or red (570-590nm) examination filter.
